The Trauma Autoimmune Indicator™ (TAI) Screening is now available at Cove

Is Stress Impacting Your Health?

If you have felt fatigue, brain fog, hormone changes, or unexplained autoimmune flares, you are not alone.

For too long, women have been told “it is just stress.” But now, we can actually measure the hidden effects of stress and trauma on your body.

The TAI Screening is a simple blood test that reveals how stress is influencing your immune system and inflammation levels — giving you clarity, validation, and a path forward.

Why It Matters

Without this insight, you might spend months working hard on the wrong things — changing your diet, exercising more, or even adjusting your thyroid — and still not feel your best. This test helps us cut through the guesswork and focus treatment where it will actually make a difference.

It may show us that retraining neural pathways with a trauma therapist, improving vagal nerve tone, or practicing somatic breathwork will have the biggest impact.

Or it may confirm that the therapy and healing work you’ve already done has been effective — and your past experiences are no longer driving inflammation.

Either way, the results give us a clear roadmap so we can stop guessing and start targeting what your body truly needs to heal.

The Story Behind TAI Screening

The TAI test was developed by iXpressGenes in Huntsville, AL. Inspired by founder Dr. Joe Ng’s experience surviving a traumatic event at UAH, the team set out to uncover the biological impact of trauma and bring hope through healing science.

Cove is proud to be the first clinic in Alabama offering this breakthrough screening to our patients.
